I've often wondered why people write blogs and to whom they write them. I mean, why would anyone want to know what you did on your birthday? Or what your favourite films are? Not me, that's for damn sure as must be!
I just want to log the next year of my life. I've decided to invent a person, you know, sort of like the old woman who made a gingerbread man that jumped out of the oven and ran around exclaiming he was a little warm. This person (to my dismay) will not be cooked up in the oven but from my imagination (I've got a soft spot for my imagination, after all, it's seen me through many a boring meeting and date), and shall be called Bill! Yes, I shall write my blogs for the benefit of Bill! And I've just decided that he's the skipper of a trawler, fishing in the Dogger area. He likes to surf the 'net and my blog in his spare time. This is all for you Bill!
Bill hasn't got a surname yet, he's still only half-cooked. Maybe I'll call him Tankard, hmm. Bill Tankard. Got a good ring to it, I like it!
My name is Vicky and I do all the usual human things.
All the people I care about call me V.

The 'template' I chose for my blog is 'dots', hmm really? I'd call them spots myself.
Just when do spots become dots?
I bet Damien spent months coming up with 'LSD' ---->
and here I am, feeling rather happy and all-over glowy that I've just created dots in mere minutes. Then again, I haven't sold my dots for lots of money and neither for that matter, have I put a big fish in some formaldehyde and convinced the world I'm a genius. Hey, what can I say? I'm a work in progress, and so is my spotty blog.
Enjoy my blog Bill - it's about nothing!
